Reflection

Despite the lack of time, our teacher in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) managed to discuss our lessons for the Second Quarter - smoothly and briefly. We were able to finish the topics in a short span of time. On how consistent our teacher is, I have no doubt on how strategic she is as a teacher.

Our topics this quarter were more interesting that the topics from the previous quarter. I was able to gain knowledge about Internet Access, Parts of the Web Browser and HTML. At least I won't be too ignorant if ever someone would ask me such.

If I would choose among the topics, HTML caught my interest the most. Doing our activities regarding HTML was as easy as understanding the topic. Hopefully, our lessons next quarter would be as interesting as this topic.

The City Never Sleeps

       July 23, 2018, Mr. Rodrigo Roa Duterte delivered his State of the Nation Address. The President's SONA this year was not as long as his previous ones but he was able to point out unfixed issues and campaigns he desires to implement.            I don't hold any grudge against the President but to  convey complaint  on a particular statement from his SONA is not a sin, is it?  " Your concern is human rights, mine is human lives " is unpleasing to the ears. Mr. Duterte is framing our mutual concerns that it seemed to contradict. You can't totally support human lives without supporting human rights. Reflection

     It is a will of mine to learn, not just to listen to our teacher as she speaks in front of our class without understanding any word she says. It wasn't too hard to absorb the topics we discussed -except for some- especially that the teachers had their own strategies in teaching that made the discussions flow easily. Being on my last year in junior high, I need to be more attentive than usual.       Although discussions were light, there were challenges I faced throughout the whole quarter. I found it hard not to be tempted to chitchat with my seatmate while we were having discussions. I had to sleep late at night in doing our requirements even on other subjects so I felt sleepy at times. There were also rough moments where frustration almost ate me when I couldn't think of other ideas to give more life to my articles.
